Sens. Wicker and Cochran Announce $100,000 Grant for the City of Ruleville

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sens. Roger Wicker and Thad Cochran today announced that the City of Ruleville has been selected to receive a $100,000 grant to construct a new fire station.
“The Ruleville Fire Department provides an invaluable service to the citizens of their community,” Senator Wicker said. “This grant will provide the fire department with a new facility and will help them provide continued service to the people of Ruleville.”
The USDA Rural Development Program aims to increase economic opportunity and improve the quality of life in rural America. This is done by providing financial and technical assistance to foster growth and new opportunities for business development, home ownership, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
