Sacred Heart Students Meet with Sen. Wicker

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., meet with 13 students from Sacred Heart High School in his Washington, D.C. office. During their visit with Senator Wicker the students discussed a wide range of topics, varying from the current state of the economy to his position on abortion.
Sacred Heart students are in Washington, D.C. as part of the Close Up Foundation. Close Up is a nonprofit foundation that gives high school students the opportunity to discuss current events and issues with members of Congress and top policy makers in Washington, D.C.
