Wicker Statement on the Passing of Former Governor Bill Waller

Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-Miss.), today made the following statement regarding the passing of former Governor Bill Waller:
“Bill Waller was a courageous prosecutor, a good family man, and a consummate gentleman. As Governor, he was an innovative and forward-thinking advocate for economic development and higher education. I am fortunate to have known him. Our state has lost a classic.”
