Wicker Statement on 5th Anniversary of Obamacare
March 23, 2015
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., a member of the Senate Budget Committee, today issued the following statement regarding Obamacare’s fifth anniversary:
“The goals of health-care reform should be to broaden access, increase choice, and lower costs – ambitions that the President’s law has failed to achieve. Over the course of the past five years, this harmful law has caused fundamental damage to peoples’ lives and to our economy. I am hopeful that the upcoming budget reconciliation provides us with an opportunity to begin the process of putting health-care decisions back where they belong – in the hands of Americans.”
