WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, today said that Mississippi stands to benefit greatly from Congressman Trent Kelly’s, R-Miss., appointment to the House Armed Services Committee.

“Congressman Kelly has devoted more than three decades of decorated military service to our country,” Wicker said. “He is one of the most knowledgeable members of the House on defense issues.
