Wicker Receives Associated Builders and Contractors’ Award

‘Eagle’ Award Honors Senator for Strong Support of American Construction Industry

Representatives from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) present the ABC Eagle Award to U.S. Senator Roger Wicker in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., today received the Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) “2017 ABC Eagle Award” in recognition of his strong record of support for the American construction industry.

“The construction industry is essential to a strong economy,” Wicker said. “I am pleased to accept this award, and I appreciate the Associated Builders and Contractors for their efforts to champion the priorities of construction workers and contractors who are creating jobs and building a bigger and better America.”

The Associated Builders and Contractors is a national construction industry trade association with 70 chapters representing over 21,000 members. The ABC honors members of Congress whose voting records surpass 80% on ABC’s legislative scorecard from the previous session.
