June 21, 2017

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., today received the National Association of Manufacturers’ award for “Manufacturing Legislative Excellence” in recognition of his strong record of support for the industry.

“Strong manufacturing means a strong U.S. economy,” Wicker said. “I am honored to accept this award, and I appreciate the work of the National Association of Manufacturers to support policies that help American industries.  This Congress and Administration have already demonstrated a commitment to easing unnecessary regulations, reducing tax burdens for job creators, and building a thriving economy that works for all Americans.  I look forward to continuing this record of support for U.S. workers and job creators.”

The National Association of Manufacturers honors members of Congress whose voting records on key manufacturing votes demonstrate an understanding of, and support for, the manufacturing sector’s role in the American economy and society.
