Wicker Meets Explorer Scouts From DeSoto County

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., today met with a group of ten Explorer Scouts from the Southaven Police Department. The Explorer Scouts program teaches participants about all facets of law enforcement and encourages community service. This year, the group of ten students raised enough money to travel to Washington, D.C. where they plan to lay a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
