WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., met with President-elect Trump’s nominee for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.

Congresswoman Stefanik most recently served in the U.S. House of Representatives for New York’s 21^st District and served as the House Republican Conference Chair for the 118^th Congress. At the time of her first election, Congresswoman Stefanik was the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. During her tenure, she has championed policies including national security, intelligence reform and oversight, broadband, education, and others.
