Project purpose: This project would help the Jackson Metro area respond to repetitive flooding and provide much-needed flood protection for disadvantaged communities in Mississippi’s Capitol region. This request would fund the Preconstruction Engineering and Design phase, allowing the project to advance when the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works issues a favorable Record of Decision on the project.

Project purpose: This project would accomplish the full capability expressed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to be executed in FY22 to continue pump design, award the first contract to pre-load the pump site, and continue NEPA documentation for the Yazoo Backwater Levee to purchase mitigation land for the previously construction levee project.

It would accomplish this by developing and conducting standardized, accredited, and industry-accepted testing for graphene product and application validation.

Project purpose: This project would establish a core test facility for graphene and graphene-like materials. The facility would provide the testing equipment and metrology expertise needed to carry out measurements in a consistent manner and enable end users to evaluate graphene effectively.

Project purpose: Through an academic institution establish and operate an accredited calibration and maintenance facility to serve the U.S. research, defense, and marine operations communities with high quality and rapid re-calibration services.
